Driving back from Southern Utah, on I-15 around mile marker 123, I think, just after Beaver, we saw a ghost standing on the shoulder of the road.
It looked like a zombie that had crawled out of a car crash, with her head cocked unnaturally to one side. We only had a moment to see her while the headlights illuminated her figure.
I'm "sure" it was a practical joke - either someone standing there or a dummy set up and left there by local teens perhaps, but it was very effective and creepy. I thought it was a fantastic way to keep late-night drivers awake with a creepiness-induced adrenaline rush.
Anyway, I'm blogging about this because I want to know if anyone else saw it or knows something about it. If you do, please post a comment below!
That’s creepy. I can’t remember who it was that I talked to, but I have heard MANY a ghost stories about the Beaver area, and the mountains back in there. I bet it really was a zombie ghost!! Haha! who knows? If you find out, let me know!
I have a Zombie Survival Guide that you can borrow. That way you can study up on what to do when there is a zombie uprising… it could happen any day now. 😉 Here are some tips though if you ever see one again.
Guns need reloading, knives don’t.
Cars need gas, bikes don’t.
Get to high ground and destroy the stairs.
Get across the bridge and destroy the bridge.
Short hair and tight clothes leave little for them to grab on to.
Don’t let your canteen slosh… it will give away your position.
Don’t travel with others, they can turn on you when you least expect it and larger groups make more noise.

I told Neil about it, he has family down that way. He said in the 80’s there was a truck driver that killed a lady right in that area. I don’t know how, but maybe it was her.
I have seen so many ghost reality shows that are on discovery channel.
I am starting to get creped out, but also very curious.
Sometimes i actually want a ghost to show up in my room.

I talked to Jon last night and told him about our “ghost.” He said that one time when Janel and a friend were driving back from St. George, they saw the same thing in the same area we were at…except they saw more than just one person. I don’t know how many they saw but Jon made it sound like there were quite a few. And he said that she said that they were all really close to the road too…like how we saw it. He said that both girls looked at each other and said, “Are you seeing this too?” Crazy huh?!?! I don’t know Shaun, I think we saw a real ghost! We’ll definitely have to get more details from Janel about what she saw.

I suspect that’s who we saw. At least one other person saw her & commented on the article.
I hope she’s okay or I’ll feel bad that we didn’t stop and look into this.
