I took a few steps closer to a new career path, met a dozen new people, and now exciting opportunities are coming at me from all directions.
I like it!
The first step was toward sales for ZYTO Corp, where I used to be the VP of Training and Customer Success. That's the job I left to sail 2,500 miles from Aruba to Acapulco last year. They have very exciting technologies that could change the face of health care in significant ways.
At a sales summit last week/weekend, I met other reps and we're discussing various cooperative efforts. Not only could they be rewarding, but the people are sharp and good and I really enjoy working with people like that.
I also got hired to help some new users with additional software training, which lead to my energy work skills being added as one of the possible referral options that clinic tests for to send clients who would benefit from it.
I'm also beginning to open a new division of Utah Energy Works - working on companies and other large groups rather than just individuals. I've been doing this for a long time and have very good success, but have never yet marketed it, though I've been approached by those familiar with my skills on behalf of their companies. I even have an appointment this morning to pitch the idea to Dr. Vaughn Cook, my old boss at ZYTO.
I may change my company name to NRG WRK (www.NRGWRK.com) because of the increasing business out of state.
My friend Hardy DeLay of UISM, inc., a master distributor for innovative green-friendly products (also with very exciting technologies coming on board), wants to hire me as part of his new education wing.
Now if I can just catch up on grading this weekend amidst all these opportunities.
