It's been a while since I posted so it's time for me to say something. What you get is a handful of good quotes & ideas I've run across lately. Along with assorted news tidbits. It implies an expectation which is a nice perspective while you hope. And wait. No matter how long it takes. I'm getting things done. I completed the last (I think) major revision of my vampire books This., along with its book cover and website. I expect the new design, along with other SEO work, to jump me up from page 3 to page 1 on google for a search that happens 60,000 times per month. I also hope to finish the lastish revision of my writing textbook and then get it approved so I can require it in my classes and get other instructors at the university to use it. I hope to catch up on all my grading, again, this weekend. Good thing it's a 3-dayer. I've probably got 3-5 hours of it left. I have a LOT more left to do, but I'll get all that done, too, eventually. The end (of winter) is near!!! Yay! Days are getting warmer and I rode the motorcycle twice this week. Valentine's Day was kinda fun, thanks to a bunch of neat friends, two of them just six years old. ♥♥♥ (I just learned how to type that symbol: a. turn on num lock b. hold down alt key c. type 3 *on your number pad* - not along the top of your keyboard, and if you're on a notebook with no separate number pad, use the letter l, at least on my keyboard that's the 3). My students are cool, as always, and I'm working on changing my teaching style so they talk more and me less. One day we circled the desks around and suddenly ppl were speaking up without waiting to be called on. Perfect. Probably my favorite thing about class is thinking back and remembering when everyone was laughing. I'm broke. But the future still seems promising. It seems like all I do is work. All the time. Sometimes 17-19 hours per day. Good thing I enjoy most of the things I work on. I'm tired, but it has to be done and I'm excited to get things over with. I've learned tons of important stuff about myself lately. I see myself much more clearly and wish I'd have gotten to this point decades ago. Sigh!!! That's it for now. Got a lot of stuff to finish.
